NBRS Financial Reward Checking Account
NBRS Financial is offering a reward checking account which ears a 5.36% APY
for all accounts with balances up $25,000(5.13% for balances up to $25K if balance requirements are not met). At $25,001 and up, the rate goes to 1.00% (1.01% for balances over $25K if balance requirements are met). To open an account, the minimum deposit required is $100. The account does not have any minimum balance requirements and NBRS does not charge fees for monthly service.
In order to receive the 5.26% APY rate, there are requirements that must be met monthly; otherwise the rate drops to 0.20%. NBRS Financial will also refund all ATM fees provided the list of requirements stated is met each month. The requirement list for both the 5.26% APY and the refunded ATM fees is as follows:
- You meet the minimum requirement of at least 10 debt card transactions each month
- You sign up to receive your bank statements electronically
- You access your bank account online
- You assign at least one direct deposit or ACH automatic debit to your account
In addition to the above rewards, NBRS also offers customers their first order of checks for free for all new accounts. NBRS Financial is a FDIC insured and has been since 1934.
In order to open a NBRS Financial Reward Checking account, you will need to visit a branch in person. The majority of bank branches are located in the state of Maryland, including the cities of Bel Air, Perryville, Aberdeen, and Elkton. There are also branches of NBRS Financial located in the state of Pennsylvania.
